During the height of COVID ( Nov 2020 ) I fell and broke my leg in pretty severely in two places. I was admitted to the hospital through the emergency room and Dr. Nawas was the surgeon on-call. He is my hero - even though I tested positive for COVID, he communicated with me compassionately, frequently and in person. He operated on my leg the next day, and met with my husband ( who I couldn't see because of COVID restrictions ) to assure him that all was going to be "ok". I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Nawas! :-)
